If You Using Cash Machines (ATM), Don’t Take The Receipt After The Transaction And Here’s Why

According to Daily Mail, there are some researchers that have shown that the individuals who were handling with the special paper utilized for the ATM more than 2 hours and with no gloves, had increased levels of Bisphenol A (BPA) in their urine.

On the other hand, the individuals who had gloves did not have an increase of this chemical compound.

Bisphenol A has been tested many times till now and it was linked with certain hormonal disorders, problems with conception and brain development at little children. This chemical compound was found in some fabrics, hard plastics (for example those used for making baby’s bottles), and canned foods.

This chemical compound is also used in making of the special ATM paper, POS – machines in the markets, highways, and similar places, so this means that most of the people are having these papers in their hands.

Which level of Bisphenol A in the urine is critical is not yet known. The results could have an importance of the persons who are working daily with these papers, such as a cashier.
